The purpose of this course is to provide advanced knowledge in the area of human behavior in organizations. It examines selected major topics related to individual, group, and organizational processes. An awareness of the issues surrounding organizational behavior is a critical component of a company’s ability to thrive and be competitive. An understanding of organizational behaviour can shape the way we view the workplace, and enable us to function more effectively within it. Students are looking to analyze and understand the human side of an organization. This can include understanding the impact of power politics, personality, motivations, performance management and employee engagement. They will be able to conduct simple assessments of these features and provide high-level feedback.
