Growing up on the south side of Chicago, the founder of Fix Me a Dish never imagined becoming the driving force behind an online marketplace. However, their passion for software development, discovered during their time at Grambling State University, led them on a path to create that was beyond anything he could ever imagine.
After a decade of honing their skills as a developer, they decided to go beyond writing code and build Fix Me a Dish—an online platform helping people find a chef for their private events. As the solo founder, Karl wears multiple hats, handling everything from product development to sales, client relationships, and chef recruitment.
His commitment to effective communication, accountability, and setting high standards has been instrumental in bringing his vision to life. While challenges have emerged, Karl still finds the journey rewarding and looks forward to pushing the boundaries of dining experiences.
