Four Bar Claw Mechanism Prototype
April 2023 - May 2023

An academic project.

- Designed a four-bar claw mechanism using the complete design process till a working prototype was produced that could transfer metal balls of a specified size from one container to another.
- Used a design evaluation matrix to consider multiple linkage systems and performed mechanics calculations before deciding on the most effective one for the design prompt.
- Tested the concept by creating a 3D SolidWorks model then created an AutoCAD drawing of the part subassemblies which were laser printed out of an acrylic sheet. Ultimately the prototype was assembled.
- Successfully completed the task of transferring multiple metal balls between containers in a competition setting.

Electric Mixer Reassembly Project
