This course focuses on providing students with real-world experience in fitness/wellness settings, where they will work under the supervision of qualified professionals. The learners will assist with a variety of tasks, including fitness assessments, exercise program development, client monitoring, and wellness coaching. Through this hands-on experience, students aim to build critical competencies in client interaction, fitness program design, professional communication, and data analysis, which are essential for a successful career in exercise science. Employers who partner with the Exercise Science program will benefit from having motivated and knowledgeable students contribute to their fitness or wellness programs.
