Working with the team at Nethubb on the Marketing Strategy Evaluation project during Summer ’25 – Q3 was a valuable experience. Their openness to collaboration and willingness to explore innovative approaches made the consulting process both engaging and productive. I appreciated their responsiveness to feedback and their commitment to aligning marketing efforts with broader business goals. Through my work with Dr. Ruether, I was able to apply strategic frameworks and operational insights that helped clarify Nethubb’s positioning and identify areas for growth. The project offered meaningful opportunities to refine messaging, evaluate market fit, and propose scalable solutions. While there were moments where clearer communication could have accelerated decision-making, the overall partnership was constructive and forward-thinking. I look forward to seeing how Nethubb continues to evolve its strategy and build on the foundations we laid together.

It was confusing and lacked structure, with incomplete information, making it impossible to connect and communicate with team members during meetings. Although they decided on a time, they often failed to attend, resulting in inconsistent commitment or intended confusion that excluded some members, causing others to not make an effort to contribute or collaborate, while leaving others in the dark. Maybe smaller teams would help, and an exact step-by-step checklist on completing the project. It was initially challenging to become a member, followed by a lengthy wait for acceptance from organizations, and possibly requiring each organization to earn coins or a discount to remain active in this student project relationship. Advertising on Google or other places to get Nethubb recognized more publicly, to gain more business membership, and to have more recruiting events or activities.

I was glad I took this class. It’s beneficial with my major that I’m going for in business. The challenges were great mind growth experiences that I wouldn’t change. I think they should offer this in every school and every colleges and all business classes. Once you’re in the business world, you’re throwing groups like this a lot and just as this, you don’t always get to choose who you work with so you have to have those strengths of skills. You have to be biased to action where you find the strengths and weaknesses of others and build your team towards the goal that is needed within a time limits given if not sooner than the time limits provided. I give this experience two thumbs up.

Regardless of the day of the week, you will always receive a response to your email within a reasonable amount of time. Another pearl of wisdom: you will leave each Zoom call with more knowledge than you could have ever imagined, and you won't feel like your time was wasted.

The Nethubb team always helps create a positive learning environment for our students’ teams to ensure project success. Valerie and the Nethubb team create a positive learning environment for our Strayer students and provided a friendly working atmosphere that was both positive and productive. Valerie always works closely with the individual teams and holds productive group meetings on Zoom that were very productive for examining the scope of the client project. Nethubb encourages creativity and allows the students to incorporate the proven strategies and tactics associated with the weekly course topics. One of the primary objectives of this course design is to give students the opportunity to work in a team environment and implement project management strategies into a group project. Valerie and the entire Nethubb team are always available to help the students achieve these course objectives, This was a great learning experience for the Strayer students and created a win-win scenario to work on a challenging team project that provided real world solutions for our business partner. The Riipen program brings a new dimension to the student learning process.
