Product Designer
NMBR values creative thinking. The goal is to create a cohesive collection of apparel designs that reflect the company's brand identity and can be prototyped for future production. The goal of NMBR is to empower everyone in unleashing their creativity and develop unique apparel designs that reflect their personal artistic vision. To explore, innovate, and push boundaries in fashion design, contributing to a fresh, bold, and experimental product line. No design experience necessary, students will be onboarding and educated on current software and building processes. Tasks + Responsibilities: Initial Briefing & Brand Immersion: Attend onboarding sessions to understand the company’s brand vision, target market, and product portfolio. Exposure to current technologies and walkthroughs. Research and Ideation: Conduct research on fashion trends and customer preferences, and similar brands in the space. Generate and present initial design concepts for feedback. Design Development: Create detailed sketches and digital mockups of designs. Develop fabric, color, and style recommendations for each design. Experiment with new styles, textures, colours and forms Prototyping & Feedback: Coordinate with the team to create samples. Participate in feedback sessions to iterate on designs. Learn and understand how current products are made with what peculiar vision
