Details

The main goal for the project is to develop a proof-of-concept 2D interactive computer simulation focusing on human resources management (HRM) challenges. The simulation will present a scenario related to HRM within an organization, allowing users to engage with the simulation, make decisions, and address HRM issues. The aim is to improve HR decision-making skills and promote better workplace practices.

Deliverables

Tasks for learners to complete to achieve the project goal:

  • Provide recommendations and guide the project lead through design choices for the simulation.
  • Reference text-based narratives to create a fictional workplace environment with HR challenges such as employee conflicts, recruitment, performance evaluations, or diversity-related issues.
  • Develop an interactive 2D interface for users to navigate through the simulation, encounter various scenarios, interact with virtual employees, and make decisions.
  • Implement decision points where users will choose from different HR strategies or actions, impacting the simulation's outcome.

This project will lay a foundation for more comprehensive development of the simulation.
