Details

As a growing nonprofit, we are looking to diversify our funding sources. Students can work individually or in teams to support us in writing various grant applications.

  • Researching grant opportunities in Canada
  • Use persuasive communication that allows potential external holders to understand what we are about
  • Writing out applications
  • Research companies/organizations that have previously provided grants/donations to organizations in our space
  • Write up grant drafts, and RFPs (Requests for proposals)

In the fall 2021 and Spring 2022 we will be running multiple programs and will be looking for people to assist with contacting schools, organizations and sharing the programs with them and help increase participation.

Each person on the program will be part of the Odihi community. We have a group chat as well as regular calls with all staff and volunteers as a group and 1-1.

You will be assigned a supervisor who will work with you and assist where needed and provide support and give you weekly tasks and to ensure you meet the expectations.

You will also be able to attend any of our workshops throughout your duration with us.
