Details

We would like to work with students to DESIGN and develop a new website for our Social Enterprise Startup - Carib.Farm.

Deliverables

Students should be prepared to:

  • Build a new website using Wordpress or WiX builder
  • Project coordination and organization - Prepare project plan, with milestones and timeline
  • Plan and map website layout and user flows to present to client
  • Deliver a step-by-step design process; starting with low-fidelity mockups (rough sketches), then wireframes (b+w Figma) and finally hi-fidelity click-thru mockups (Figma) for our company's review.
  • Visual assets will be provided by client - gather and optimize website images
  • Work with website copywriters to determine copy requirements for each section and research appropriate SEO considerations
  • Build a fully-functioning, branded website, with our assistance in providing design direction, content and copy
  • Test website
  • Provide overview on updating and maintaining the site.
  • Prepare and deliver final completed website
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project

We will have regular weekly 1on1 and Team virtual meetings that students are required to attend
