Digital Community Social Media Marketing

As a member of the Digitial Marketing Team, create strong social media marketing with high-quality, relevant content; including written word, images, videos and podcasts in order to increase community awareness and membership numbers.

  • Assist in the development of the 6-month social media/e-mail calendar, creating strategy and objectives for each communication.
  • Using social media mgmt software Hootsuite/Postly, organize and deploy robust social media/email marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate and monitor community growth campaign including; users, members, expert contributors, partners & collaborators.
Deliverables
  • Coordinate and monitor community onboarding campaign - users, members, experts contributors, partners & collaborators.
  • Coordinate and communicate your weekly milestones, progress and challenges with the Marketing Team Project Manager.
  • Monitor community platform analytics and prepare weekly results reports on overall performance.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Team Project Manager on methods to test and improve marketing results.
  • Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting that influence digital community development.
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect our community traffic and user interactions.
  • Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Coordinate membership promotions.
Mentorship
  • A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project - implementing "mentor office hours" and a Slack channel for regular team communication.
  • A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the internship program to review the project scope.
  • An supervisor will be assigned to the student to provide a performance evaluation of the student.
