Our team is looking to improve organic traffic to our website by optimizing our website, enhancing visibility across search engines, and ensuring FindGrant reaches the businesses and individuals who need us most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase website traffic and rankings.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research aligned with our target audience (e.g., small businesses, entrepreneurs, women, Indigenous, and BIPOC communities).
• Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, titles, headers, and URLs.
• Improve website content to ensure it is SEO-friendly, while aligning with our mission and target market.
• Analyze website analytics, track performance, and create reports on SEO progress and KPIs.
• Perform competitor analysis and identify new SEO opportunities.
• Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, keyword-rich content.

SEO Audit & Strategy:

• Conduct a basic SEO audit of FindGrant’s website.
• Develop a streamlined SEO strategy focused on high-impact keywords.

Keyword Research & Optimization:

• Perform quick keyword research for grant-related terms.
• Optimize 3-5 key pages for target keywords (titles, meta descriptions, headers).

Content Optimization:

• Review and optimize existing content for SEO.
• Draft SEO guidelines for future content.

Technical SEO Fixes:

• Address basic technical issues (site speed, mobile responsiveness, broken links).
• Implement internal linking improvements.

Competitor Analysis:

• Conduct a quick competitor SEO review and identify key opportunities.

Final Submissiom:

• Provide a final report on SEO improvements and insights.

We will have our team available to help and guide the students. Also we will provide access to tools such as Google search console or other necessary SEO tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs.

We will also give access to a repository which contains the HTML code for the TrustNet website
