structural analysis competitive analysis data analysis research project planningStudents will work on design projects related to structural engineering and structural mechanics. Structures such as buildings, dams, chimneys, bridges, wind turbine towers, pipelines, rail roads, etc. to withstand variety of load cases including earthquake, wind, and waves. Pipeline leakage detection and train derailments prevention, corrosion detection and prevention, rehabilitation of deteriorated infrastructures are among the special project topics our students may involve with.
Students
While deliverables will vary depending on the project scope, at the conclusion of the project you should have a completed report or other assets that you can use to further your business goals. Maintaining communication with students throughout the project will lead to better results.
